Christopher V. Goodpastor earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Austin in 1990 with studies in the Chemical Engineering Honors Program. He graduated with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 1994, where he served as Managing Editor of The Review of Litigation and Chief Notes Editor of Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal. Upon graduation, Christopher joined the firm of Fulbright & Jaworski as Associate in Houston, Texas and later served as Associate with the firm of Morrison & Foerster in San Francisco, California. In 1999, he returned to Austin, Texas where he served as Vice President, External Affairs and Assistant General Counsel for Covad Communications, Inc. and as Chief Legal Counsel for Trinsic Communications, Inc. Christopher subsequently joined Watts Law Firm, L.L.P. in 2007. His litigation experience includes antitrust litigation, securities litigation, telecommunications litigation and regulation, commercial torts, international litigation, breach of contract, and class action litigation.
Christopher is a member of the State Bars of Texas and California and is admitted to practice in the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Fifth and Ninth Circuits, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas and the Northern District of California. Christopher is a member of American Bar Association and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association (TTLA).
